On June 18, 2019 the Carris Reels Charitable Giving Committee of Vermont presented Ed Bride, of Prevent Child Abuse Vermont with a “big check,” for $3,800. PCAVT is a state chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America. Their mission is to promote and support healthy relationships within families, schools and communities to eliminate child abuse and neglect. They provide parent education, support and public awareness. In Vermont alone, there are over 200 dedicated volunteers who help facilitate their program.
